No Sweat Helene

from Daisycutter by Sara Milonovich & Daisycutter

about

This set starts off with a pair of my favorite Quebecois tunes. The first one, "A Traverse la Vitre", was written by Michel Bordeleau, and the second, "Sans Perdre Hélene", by Benoit Bourque. I wrote the third tune ("Rossagh's Da") for John Doyle's daughter. It's a nod to the fiddle music I grew up listening to and playing!
